Our beautiful Victorian upstairs lounge is steeped in history. Rumour has it that Charlie Chaplin used to perform here as a young boy and seminal British jazz orchestra Loose Tubes formed right here in the late eighties.

Hard acts to follow, but on Tuesdays join us for the infamous Roebuck quiz, hosted by the even more infamous quizmaster Joe "the fingers" Fitzpatrick. Would you like to beat him? We would!

Thursdays entertain us with Bang Said The Gun, a very popular poetry night.

Aside from Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Roebuck Lounge is used as an extension of the pub, hence providing a bit of extra space for those busy Friday nights. With original wood flooring, an open fire and its own bar, this space exudes an atmosphere of comfort and character. Big tables for Sunday lunch? Or even just a quiet space to enjoy a good paper and a Bloody Mary? The Lounge has it.
